RESTAURANT STOCK
Referencing the monumental former financial broker building ‘Beurs van Berlage’, situated across the street from the Hotel, all functions of The Exchange are named after specific elements of financial trading. Café restaurant Stock is part of The Exchange project.
A part of the visual identity features a flock of rare birds with fashion accessoires. The big mural is assembled in collaboration with people wo are connected to The Exchange: the constructors, students, designers, hotel staff and financiers.
Everyone who was involved was asked to draw a fashion bird to become a shareholder of the design of café – restaurant Stock.
The rare birds gave the main contribution to the visual style of the café, together with the hand made gold bars (stacked like bricks at the counter).
